Switching is an afternoon, not a quarter.

From Lattice, 15Five, Leapsome, or a folder of spreadsheets: the import takes an afternoon, rebuilding templates takes about two hours — and we do both, before you commit a dollar. This page says exactly what comes over, what needs mapping, and what doesn't transfer at all.

What imports — the honest version

Three lists, not one. Migration pages that claim everything transfers are how you end up discovering the truth in week two — better you know it here.

✓ Comes over cleanly
People and reporting linesFrom a CSV, HRIS export, or your current tool’s people export — names, emails, managers, departments.
Completed reviewsHistorical reviews come over as archived documents attached to each person, with their original dates. The record stays intact.
Goals and their statusActive and completed goals, owners, and progress — mapped to Standard OP goals.
Manager notes and check-insDated, attributed notes import as weekly notes, so the narrative history survives the move.
~ Rebuilt with mapping — about two hours, and we do it
~
Review templates and rating scalesTemplates are rebuilt, not copied — the data models differ between tools. This is the “about two hours” part, and we do it with you so the questions come out the way you actually want them.
~
Review cyclesYour cadence, deadlines, and reviewer routing are reconfigured to match how you run cycles today — or improved, if you want the excuse.
~
Roles and permissionsAdmin, manager, and employee roles are mapped to Standard OP’s model; SSO group mapping happens here on Scale and Plus.
✗ Doesn't transfer — export it before you cancel
Engagement survey historyStandard OP doesn’t have engagement surveys, so there’s nowhere for it to go. Export it from your current tool before you cancel — we’ll tell you exactly what to save.
Compensation dataNo comp module here either. If comp reviews live in your current tool, export them alongside the surveys.
Vendor analytics dashboardsSaved dashboards and custom reports don’t transfer between any two tools in this category. The underlying data — reviews, goals, notes — does.

How it runs — four steps, two of them ours

STEP 01 · YOU
Send the export

We send click-by-click export instructions for your tool. Ten minutes of your time, tops.

STEP 02 · US
We import everything

People, reviews, goals, and notes land in a fresh instance in an afternoon — dates and authors intact.

STEP 03 · US, WITH YOU
Templates in ~2 hours

We rebuild your review templates and cycles with one person from your team on the call.

STEP 04 · YOU
Evaluate with your data

Poke at a working instance with your real history in it. Buy it or don't — you haven't paid anything yet.

The whole point: you evaluate Standard OP with your own data, not demo data — and the migration risk that keeps teams stuck on per-seat tools is our job, not yours.

Fair questions.

How long does the migration actually take?

The data import takes an afternoon. Rebuilding review templates takes about two hours. End to end, most teams go from export to a working instance with their own data inside two business days — and we do the work, not you.

What do you need from us?

One export from your current tool (we’ll send exact click-by-click instructions for Lattice, 15Five, or Leapsome), or a people CSV if you’re coming from spreadsheets. Plus one person who can answer template questions for about an hour. That’s the whole ask.

We’re mid-cycle. Should we wait?

Usually no. The honest playbook: finish the cycle that’s in flight in your current tool, import everything the day it closes, and start the next cycle in Standard OP. If your cycle is months from closing, we can import mid-cycle and carry the open reviews over — it’s more mapping work, and we’ll tell you plainly if it’s worth it for your setup.

What happens in our old tool afterwards?

Export and archive everything first — including the things we can’t import, like engagement survey history. We’ll give you a checklist of what to save before you cancel, because once a per-seat contract lapses, some vendors limit export access.

Is the migration really free?

Yes, and it happens before you pay: we import your data, rebuild your templates, and hand you a working instance to evaluate. If you don’t buy, you’ve lost nothing but the export click. If you do, the 21-day money-back guarantee still applies on top.

Send one export. We'll do the rest.

A working instance with your own data, before you pay — then flat bands from $169/month with a 21-day money-back guarantee.
