Product 01 · Performance Review

Your review record is the evidence file.

Weekly manager notes, two-sided sign-off and a complete audit trail — so the file is written before you need it. Review season taking days instead of weeks is the side effect.

See plans — flat, from $169/mo No per-seat fees. Price locked for your full term. 21-day money-back guarantee.

Six months from now, what will you hand your employment lawyer?

Most review tools produce a form. Standard OP produces a record — dated manager notes written while the work happened, a two-sided sign-off, and an audit trail nobody can quietly edit. When a decision gets challenged, that's the difference between a file and a memory.

01

The form is short because the year was long

Templates for ICs, managers, and 90-day probation. Autosave the whole way through, sign-off on both sides, and a PDF at the end for the file.

Self-assessment, manager narrative, sign-off
Nothing reaches the employee until you say so
Export one review as PDF or the cycle as .xlsx
02

Reviews shouldn't be the worst week of the year

Standard OP turns the annual scramble into a weekly habit. Managers write a note when something happens. When review time comes, the work is already done.

Two minutes a week, one note at a time
The narrative drafts itself from what you wrote
Every note is dated, attributed, and lands in the record
03

Numbers HR can act on, not admire

Completion by department, who's blocking what, and what's overdue with the reason attached. One chart, one table, no dashboard theatre.

Cycle completion at a glance
Overdue items name the person waiting
Ask it in plain language instead of filtering

What you're paying now, and what you'd pay

Per-seat review tools cluster around $11 per employee per month. Flat bands change the math — and the gap widens every time you hire.

AI that cites its sources, and never trains on your reviews

Every review tool has an AI drafter now. The question that matters is what it does with your employees' data — and whether you can check its work.

Every draft links back to the note it came from
Queries are read-only and permission-scoped
We never train on customer data — on any plan
Bring your own model over MCP — Claude, another provider, or one running on your own hardware
05

A home page that tells you what actually needs you

Managers Corner opens on the four things worth a minute — not forty notifications. An overdue review, a goal someone just hit, a report you haven't written about in three weeks.

Private coverage rings, visible only to you
Nudges you can wave off for the week
Every person on one row, no clicking through

Most review software is a form factory.

It shows up in June, demands four thousand words per person, and vanishes until next year. Nobody remembers what happened in February, so everyone writes fiction about the last three weeks. Standard OP is the opposite: two minutes a week, and it remembers the year for you.

The old way
A form nobody opens until the deadline email
Six months of work summarized from memory
Per-seat pricing that punishes you for hiring
A dashboard full of numbers no manager acts on
With Standard OP
Two minutes a week, one note at a time
The narrative drafts itself from what you wrote
A flat monthly band — never per-seat math
Four things worth your attention, and nothing else
A note from the founder

Standard OP is new. Here's who built it and why.

I spent years running web and digital systems inside a university — which means I've sat inside these review cycles from the operator's chair. I've watched managers reconstruct a year from memory the night before a deadline, and I've seen what happens when a contested decision meets a thin file.

Standard OP is the tool I wanted in that chair: notes written while the work happened, sign-off from both sides, and a record that holds up. We don't have a wall of customer logos yet — we're honest about that, and the guarantees on this page are how we earn the first ten.

— Eric Larson, Founder

The Hiring Guarantee

Your price is locked for your full term, however many people you hire. Sign at 90 people and grow to 145 — you pay the same $549. Per-seat pricing would have taken you from $11,880 to $19,140 over the same stretch.

Why we price this way: per-seat pricing is a business model, not a cost. Our costs barely change between your 150th and your 300th employee — so we don't charge as though they do.

Fair questions.

What counts toward the seat limit on each plan?

Anyone being reviewed or writing reviews. Team covers up to 25 people, Growth up to 75, Scale up to 175, and Plus up to 300. Past 300, talk to sales.

What happens when we outgrow our plan?

Within your term, nothing — the Hiring Guarantee locks your price for the full term however many people you add. At renewal you move to the band that fits, and nothing else changes: same data, same setup, same domain.

Do you charge per seat?

No. Each plan is a flat monthly price for its band — $169 up to 25 people, $339 up to 75, $549 up to 175, $999 up to 300. Your bill never moves because you hired three people in March.

Why is this so much cheaper than per-seat tools?

Per-seat is a business model, not a cost. Our costs barely move between your 150th and your 300th employee, so we don't charge as though they do. At 150 people, a typical $11-per-employee tool runs $19,800 a year; Scale is $6,588.

What happens to our review history if we leave?

You take all of it: full export of reviews, notes, goals, and sign-offs as PDF and Excel. No lock-in, no export fee, no retention hostage-taking. Your review record is yours.

How hard is migrating from Lattice or 15Five?

Honestly: the import takes an afternoon and rebuilding your review templates takes about two hours. And you won't do either — we run the migration for you, before you commit a dollar.

How does the AI work on each plan?

Growth, Scale, and Plus include full native AI — OP Intelligence is on when you sign in, with no API key to obtain. Team includes a lighter native AI allowance for drafts and summaries. Every plan is MCP-enabled, so you can connect your own Claude or Grok and work with your review data from there.

Do you train AI on our employee data?

No. Never, on any plan. Reviews and notes are used to answer your request and nothing else. Every AI query is read-only, scoped to what the person asking is allowed to see, and logged to an admin audit trail. On MCP, the same permission scoping applies to your own connected model.

What about attachments and storage?

Growth includes 1 TB of object storage for attachments, and Scale and Plus include 2 TB — supporting docs, work samples, signed PDFs. Team includes 100 GB.

Is white-labelling included?

Growth and up run white-labelled on your own domain (typically a subdomain like reviews.yourcompany.com). Team runs on a standardop.app subdomain.

Can employees see the private notes managers write?

No. Notes are private to the manager until they deliberately move something into a review. The AI honours the same boundary — it can only draw on notes the person asking is allowed to read.

Can we run it on our own servers?

On-premises and private-cloud deployment is an Enterprise offering — alongside SCIM provisioning, HRIS sync, multi-entity setups, custom review cycles, and SLAs with dedicated onboarding. It starts with a conversation rather than a checkout page: contact sales and a real person will reply within one business day.
